HardpointAI Oy

01Who we are

The controller for personal data processed through this website is HardpointAI Oy (Business ID 3611215-1), Vantaa, Finland. Email: contact@hardpointos.com. Company details are in our Imprint.

02What this covers

This policy covers personal data we process about visitors to hardpointos.com and about people who write to us by email. It does not cover data processed under separate contractual or pre-contractual arrangements, such as evaluation agreements, non-disclosure agreements or supplier relationships. Those are governed by the agreement in question and any privacy terms that come with it.

03What we collect

This is an informational website. We do not run contact forms, user accounts, newsletters, or our own tracking or analytics, and we do not actively collect personal data about visitors. The only personal data processed is:

  • Email. If you write to us, we receive your email address, any name or organisation you give, and your message.
  • Hosting. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes limited technical data, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and secure the site.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data through this website. Please do not send sensitive or classified information by email or through this website.

04Why, and on what basis

  • To answer enquiries and hold pre-contractual discussions. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) and, where it applies, steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To run, secure and maintain the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a safe, working service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To meet legal obligations where they apply. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

05Cookies and tracking

This website:

  • sets no cookies of its own;
  • stores nothing in your browser's local or session storage;
  • runs no analytics and loads no third-party scripts;
  • serves its fonts and films from our own host.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from abuse. The LinkedIn and email share links on news posts only open LinkedIn or your own mail program when you click them.

06Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract, and only as needed:

  • Hosting. Cloudflare, which delivers and secures this website.
  • Email. Our email provider, which we use to receive and answer your messages.

We may also disclose data where the law, a regulation, or a valid request from a competent authority requires it.

07International transfers

Our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is protected by an appropriate safeguard under Chapter V of the GDPR: usually the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, an adequacy decision, or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards using the contact details above.

08How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as the purpose needs it. Enquiry correspondence is kept for the duration of the discussion and a reasonable period after it, or longer where a business relationship follows or the law requires it. Technical data is kept for a limited period for security, then deleted or anonymised.

09Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict or object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interest;
  • receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To use any of these rights, write to contact@hardpointos.com. We answer within one month, as the GDPR requires.

10How we protect it

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers. No transmission over the internet is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11How to complain

Questions or requests about your personal data go to contact@hardpointos.com. If you believe your data has not been handled lawfully, you can complain to the Finnish supervisory authority: the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto), Lintulahdenkuja 4, 00530 Helsinki; PO Box 800, 00531 Helsinki, Finland; tietosuoja.fi/en.
